Data for this project was collected through various sources including: State education websites, state social studies coordinators, a survey to the state Geographic Alliances, the US Department of Education, and the Grosvenor Center for Geographic Education. Data for states is always changing, and in some states, the information varies locally and is hard to track. If there is any data on these forms that is no longer accurate, please let us know.
